Thanks Keedie, I'm unfortunately still snivelly and sneezy. I didn't have a very good night's sleep last night and I'm out until late tonight at the theatre so I may need a nap.

Not a NSD as I'm off out. I've sent £6 to the credit card as my PAD... Only a short update this morning as I'm off to walk the dog before the rain starts!

One of life’s underrated little pleasures for me LMD is seeing dogs out enjoying their walks. They don’t ask for much. Just some love and some lamp posts and grass verges to sniff. I love how they very much live in the present  :)
    Enjoy your day

He loves a good sniff... Sometimes he stands at the back door and just sniffs at the air :D He also sniffs the air vents when we are in the car, especially if we are driving through wooded areas... It's cute to see.  When we got back we treated ourselves to a full english breakfast. That will see us on til roast beef dinner later before we go out. Today is not a dieting day, I think I deserve a day of indulgence!

We only have £10 to go before we reach our target of £150 so I am pleased about that.

  • Happy Monday, hope everyone had a great weekend. For the moment it's clear and bright here but there's rain forecast later so I took the dog out early.  No fry up for me today though, just cornflakes haha. I did lose 1lb last week so not as much as at first but as long as it's a loss I am happy.

There's nothing available on Prolific so I have sent £6 to the credit card as my PAD.  Today will be a NSD for me, we have no plans until Thursday when we are going out for dinner as a mini-celebration of my debt free day.  I have some receipts from the weekend to snap on my apps but I'm nowhere near a payout at the moment, I will keep doing these to send funds to savings pots.

Priority for me once debts are clear will be funding the November holiday as that needs to be paid in full by August 9th!
That's about it from me today. 3 days to go...

  • Enjoyed a dip in the hot tub tonight. Now to turn it back down to save electricity…

I don't like it when my fingers go wrinkly :D

Today will be another NSD for me, I have another busy day and lunchtime will be spent walking the dog. I have a brow appointment on Saturday so I also need to go and get a patch test done today or tomorrow, whenever I can squeeze that in. The weather looks glorious but I can hear windscreens being scraped so I'm not venturing out til later.

My PAD was £6 sent to the credit card, another £6 tomorrow and then the rest on pay day. Not long to go now, I am rather excited... I wonder what time I will get up on Thursday with the excitement - Actually I'm not sure at what time my wages will hit my account but my posts will be earlier than usual!

I'm quite sad my diary is ending, it's been quite a journey!
    Have lovely Tuesday's all

You should keep going with your diary anyway - make it a savings diary! You have been my inspiration - just totted up my total debt again. If I stay on track for 8 months it'll be gone by end of Dec with current payments and nothing extra. My aim is to shift that to October. I have a few things in the pipeline that will hopefully help :)

Thanks! It's nice to know you've found some inspiration in my waffling haha!

I plan on closing this one as it's in the debt-free diary section and opening another on the savings boards. I will definitely keep waffling on as it keeps me on track and aware of my finances :)

  • £6 became available on Prolific so I've cashed out and sent it to CC7. A nice way to end the day before I'm up to my elbows in meat making meatballs haha

I'm going to be super excited about your debt free date as well! Your diary and support has really helped me and I'll definitely subscribe to your new diary once it's up and running.

Hot tub looks like great fun.
