Well done for resting and for choosing to stay in LMD, hopefully you can get out and about very soon but you at least have the small compensation of a bonus NSD

Thanks Adeley, almost all of ours are fairy lights so I should be OK.
I have spent time this morning working out our annual consumption and then calculating the real costs based on the new fixed cap unit rates ( 34p/kwh elec, 10.3p/kwh gas, and combined standing charges of 74p/day) when I eventually found them. All the articles seem to quote the average annual cost, but we aren't the average house as we used loads of electric and not much gas. Anyway, I did the maths and it turns out I need to up my bill by about £20 a month more to cover it so I'm OK with that.
This also means that I should be able to stick to my original debt free date of 27th September 2023... 1 year and 17 days to go! With that all sorted, I will go and make celebratory breakfast that I can't taste or smell... meh

Good morning. I was starting to feel a bit better yesterday afternoon but this morning I feel like I have been hit by a train 😩 Hubby says I have tried to do too much too soon. I’ve promised him I will properly rest today.
My PAD was £1 to CC7 and today will be another NSD. If this illness lasts much longer I will be able to send a good bit of extra to the CC just based on not being able to go out and do anything.
16 days left until Payday, not even needed to put any fuel in the car this month yet haha. There are benefits to being poorly I guess.
I’m off to watch some telly in bed. See you later

You will recover quicker if you rest 😀
I'm the same though. Always feel bad sitting around doing nothing.1 -

Hi all - a quick update before I head back to bed.
A few small bills have come out this morning plus £1 to CC7 and a bit to the sealed pot, total £25.51 as my PAD today.
I have been tinkering with my spreadsheet and as the utility bills won't be increasing as much as I had feared, I *think* that I will be able to bring my DFD forward by 2 months. This is if all goes to plan and there's no unexpected hiccups along the way, although my spreadsheet is based on the standard monthly payments and doesn't include any PADs or survey cash outs so there will also be some wriggle room.
Even if it's not achievable, my 0% doesn't expire until 6th Oct 2023 anyway so at least I will still have the 2 months buffer.
Not much else to report really, credit scores have gone up a bit more and Experian is maxed out at 999. Things are in good shape and I'm feeling financially positive.
Hope you all have a good Monday

Morning all, not much happening today so another NSD is on the cards along with a lot of sleeping probably.
PAD was £29 today which included our broadband DD. I was marvelling last night about just how much I have managed to pay off since rejoining the forum. I’ve also set my heart on the new DFD which means I’m working to 317 days to go! I’m confident it’s doable.
I just can’t wait to be debt free
