Not a N1 claim form from Northampton CCBC then? In your original post, you stated that you had four fines (actually not fines but speculative invoices) and a CCJ. Have you had a court order from CCBC informing you that you have a default CCJ?sophie160207 said:I'm really sorry if I'm not being clear or I'm being confusing. I have been reading about this for the last three days and have so much information in my head that it might not come across clearly.
The letter delivered in August was titled 'Notice of Debt Recovery'.2 -
The court will have sent one of these somewhere.
If you got it you need to explain why you didn't deal with it.
If you didn't you need to find out why.

I received a 'Letter of Claim' in November 2020. I didn't receive this letter as it went to a home address. My parents opened the final letter 'Notice of enforcement' last Friday - they then went through the post I'd received since being last home in September and then found the letter from November. Thank you for your quick responses. It is good to have your honest opinions about my chances as I'd rather pay the £1000 and not have a CCJ on my credit rating than go through this process and lose anyway.
Many thanks.0 -
Hi Henrik777, no I didn't receive that form. I have only had correspondence from DCBL.0

No, no such form from CCBC. I have called them and they acknowledged the CCJ but I haven't received this form. I will call and find out why.0

So your parents' can't find any such notice addressed to you? Have they checked all mail addressed to you?Jenni x2

"them" being the CCBC? Be precise.
DId you get a second letter stating Default Judgment, or really similar words to that effect?
YOU MUST CALL TEH CCBC AND GET ALL DETAILS OF THE CLAIM AGAINST YOU. ALL DETAILS.
Use the template form above so you knoiw what info youre asking for3 -

Hi everyone, I just got off the phone from CCBC. The Claim Form was served on 9th January. The man I spoke to explained that I might not have received it due to problems with Royal Mail. I firmly believe that my parents would have opened a legal letter such as this.
