HL have entered the cash ISA market, through their Active Savings account. Only offer at this time an instant access ISA with the Coventry. 0.4% AER, not market-leading. You can get the same ISA directly at Coventry. too, so there is little advantage if you already have a Coventry login. Also, Coventry allows transfers-in, HL doesn't.

  • Would it be appropriate and do you think it would be a likely development for HL to add the Coventry Junior ISA, currently paying 2.95% AER, to their Active Savings account in due course?

If they did it wouldn't be a great deal of use: "2.1 To open an [Active Savings] Account you: (A) must be an individual who is a UK resident, aged 18 or over"
