Waste plumbing query

I've fit a Reginox sink and I've been totally thrown by not knowing how to connect the pipework that came with the sink (says 1 1/2" on the pipe) to my waste pipe which is 40mm.
I think I need a coupler with a 1.5" female and 40mm male but then I start to go cross eyed trying to work out how to then get down to the waste. I assume I will need to cut where the 135 degree elbow meets the waste.
Can anybody recommend me some parts from a merchant that will get me from sink to waste with a vague description of the journey? I'd prefer to use compression fittings if possible

Cut the outlet pipe where your arrow is, then a pipe at 45degrees. Personally I would solvent weld after the trap, once done right it will stay right and if it needs altering 'replacing pipe is cheaper than a leak'. You can buy reducers that screw on to the waste then go straight into another thread, though push fit may have enough tolerance that you don't need an adaptor.0

Do you still need to add a U-bend to the pipe under the sink?And what's that white compression fitting on the pipe to the left?0

Sorry but I am really struggling without specifics. Are you suggesting I need:
1.5" 45 degree elbow at sink outlet, connecting to;
1.5" pipe, connecting to;
1.5" 45 degree elbow, connecting to;
1.5" pipe, connecting to;
Trap 1.5" but the female waste is 40mm?
Links to parts on websites would really help - I really have been thrown with these pipe sizes0 -
If you haven't yet fitted a U-bend, then do so. Then we can work out how to join it all(I would be inclined to stick with compression fittings for this job, as it allows a lot of movement and adjustment.With 'solvent', you have to be pretty much spot on. Also, once glued, it's fixed.)That 40mm pipe has a 45o elbow on it. A good start could well be: https://www.screwfix.com/p/floplast-wc19-universal-compression-waste-bend-135-45-40mm/30640 which will bring it up vertically.There's even things like: https://www.screwfix.com/p/floplast-wc23-universal-compression-waste-adjustable-bend-40mm/12007Do you have any spare pipe? If not, you can always consider https://www.screwfix.com/p/mcalpine-flexicon4-flexible-connector-white-40-x-157-242mm/86386 We won't snigger, honestly...
