How much have prices increased compared to a couple of years ago?Is there a possibility that prices will decline within 6 months?I got a cheap buy when I bought my 63 plate Zafira a couple of years ago @£2,500 but a similar van would be double that price.

This time last year my sister had to travel from Leicester to Edinburgh to get a decent van that met her requirements, I can only imagine it has become more of a challenge/expense now.0

1. To work and earn money.
2. As part of a likely-expensive hobby...
They don't have the bling factor of cars, so they don't have the rapid depreciation. No plasterer cares if his mates on site might look down their noses at his 5yo non-premium-brand van, like Karen's worried about with her PCP'd 116d M-sport. He cares if it's going to lose him a day's work by having a sulk.
Then there's the cost and hassle of changing vans. If your van is signwritten or has fleet tracking kit installed or is racked out for parts and tools or has dog cages built in or a garage for your MX bikes, or whatever the reason for owning one is, then it's a damn sight harder to change vans than it is to change cars. You don't do it on a whim.
Will prices decline in 6m? <shrug> If you can predict how this country will be going about its life in six months, you must have a pretty damn good crystal ball.1 -

With Brexit and covid there's been a huge drop in supply due to manufacturing / supply chain issues, as well as presumably companies holding onto fleets for longer due to the uncertainty.
2021 is going to be a terrible time to buy a van. Smaller vans may be an exception as smaller businesses go bust or downsize to doing deliveries from cars, but bigger vans are going to be a nightmare.
