I've been with Virgin media a few years and the signals are inconsistent. I want to try Community Fibre. Do yo have it? Would you recommend it? I want to continue with my land line. What are the options?

(I've been with Virgin media a few years and the signals are inconsistent.)What signals ??? your VM service or the wifi in the home .If its wifi then is it correctly setup .(I want to continue with my land line)Is that a separate landline to your VM service ??

I’m not familiar with CF , but it’s quite likely they don’t provide a phone service , so you would have to use a VOIP provider if you want to keep a ‘landline’ phone service , and if you wanted to keep your existing phone number you would have to arrange the porting of the number from VM to the VOIP provider before getting rid of VM.
As there is no ‘connection’ between the two networks , you could get CF installed before ceasing VM ( porting the number beforehand ) that way you,are never without service.0 -
Oh yes they do (VOIP and evidently offer an adapter so subscribers can continue to use their existing telephone):iniltous said:but it’s quite likely they don’t provide a phone service

Thanks everyone.jj wfan you made a great point about the wifi in the home and have looked into mesh wifi to strengthen the signal as a result of your comment. It seems to cost £20 for broadband and an extra £10 for phone, so more expensive than plusnet which is £19 for both.0
