Is kitchen fitter responsible for dishwasher leak 6 months after installation?

Was the dishwasher installed first and then the adjacent unit /cooker fitted? or was the dishwasher fitted after the unit/cooker? If after then the fitter would have left sufficient pipe for the dishwasher to be removed by opening the dishwasher door and pulling the whole unit. Taking care not to scratch the floor panels.1

If you have a mobile with a camera on it you could see if that could see under the cooker, you have to get a torch to light up the underneath but that may work. Can you get to the underneath of the sink and see if anything is wet.0 -
The dishwasher should pull out. Might need a bit of brute force at first as the floor will have swollen. . You need to switch it off first at the mains.
I suspect its's the inlet hose possibly come loose when its been pushed into place.

He won't want to spoil his work. It will cost of course but waiting may cause more damage and end up costing more.April 2020 - £102,222 Loans/CC’s.
