Well, she can change the locks, but he would be entitled to a key and / or to get a locksmith to arrange to gain access, so it isn't ideal.

I asked this several posts back..... I'm still none the wiser, I also have no idea how he got a mortgage if he has no income. 
So reading between the lines.... he e received a hefty payout and purchased their house for them both to live in, in joint names (I'm guessing it is their only house as in the 3rd one they have bought, and not their 3rd with the other 2 rented out).
He has now moved out and staying with his girlfriend for 5 nights a week, so isn't paying his half of the bills as he isn't there.  But is contributed less than half.  Unsure why he comes back for 2 nights and if OP has reported him for this or not.  I'm guessing she has reported him and for some reason the police haven't warned him or investigated it yet..... restrictions may be lifted by the time they do which won't help the OP, but she should keep a record of dates she reported him though.
For all the previous years where OP has contributed half, I'm guessing the ex's half came from his payout and he used that each month.  
But other than that, it's anyone's guess.
