He recons I’m not entitled to anything

Myself and partner are splitting up after 3 decades together. He received a bit of money due to an accident so we bought our 3rd house together. The house was paid for out right. All the other bills split down the middle. I work full time he doesn’t work. Because he likes to spend money (nothing else to do) we’ve had to take out a mortgage. Then his spending went through the roof again so we had to take out another mortgage. So there’s 2 mortgage on the property. But now he’s saying I’m not entitled to any of the profits when we sell the house. The house is in both names. I pay half of everything, even his credit cards which there’s roughly £30k on. The relationship is toxic. We can’t speak to each other. I can’t afford a solicitor so that’s out of the question. I just need to know if what he’s saying is right. Thanks

He also had an affair. Which is still ongoing. Don’t know how long it’s been going on for I think close to 8months.0

no never saw the point. Because we were committed to each other. But obviously not that committed0

Stop paying his credit cards for a start. And get a solicitor. You say you can't afford that, but you can't afford not to. Borrow the money from a relative or friend if you have to.4

Is the property owned as tenants in common?

Are the credit cards in his name or yours and he's run up the debt?
