Certainly not the way it was sold to me. The "adviser" suggested that the benefit for me was in the fibre upgrade (which would solve our problem) and that the term 'Halo 1' was the branding of the package. I use wi-fi very little, and the only time I need the mobile network backup is for the frequent times the service goes belly-up. I'm quite annoyed with myself because I usually scrutinise things before signing up to them. I didn't expect to be told a lot of cobblers, by this bloke. The fibre and copper wire system may work for most but there's evidently an infrastructure problem here that they don't want to spend any time of money sorting. Time to have a few words with BT. Yes fibre and copper is end of life . Direct optical cabling to the premises is being rolled out by Open Reach .
