Yes; how are you supposed to be aware you are on a p[rivate road apart from signage? If the signs are at ankle level how a) can you see them AND READ THEM before you stop, b) they have too many words to be read from a moving car anyway, and c) in order to read them you have to stop the car - at which point they somehjow claim you have entered into the contract?
Complete scam

UKCPM are no longer BPA AOS members, they are IPC AOS members and have been so since 1/10/2015.So that sign is at least 5 years out of date, and if that is the only one on the site, or there are others sporting the BPA logo roundel - get more photos if so (ignore any rectangular logo, only the roundel counts) then I would argue that it cannot form a contract, given the incorrect and misleading accreditation and its age. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

That is the only sign on the site. I will use that argument within my defence too, thanks!0

Do you even need to ask that? Think about it! You don't need us to tell you this crashingly obvious defence point.Winston19 said:Can I use the fact it is an ankle level sign within my defence?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I think that the "man on the Clapham bus" would be unlikely to see this sign. The doctrine of the man on the Clapham bus" is how would a reasonably educated person act.Winston19 said:

Is there another you've spotted?Winston19 said:OK thank you very much for your reply. Shall I still use the 2020 template defence with #2 and #3 edited with my case details?
Based on the signage would I also have a case that it is prohibitive rather than contractual? (Picture attached)

You see Winston, Gladstones won't have a clue what you are showing us. There is no doubt that they are probably the most incompetent legal in the UK .... you play the game, let them waste their money, let a judge give them yet another spanking for bringing such timewasting claims to court, Gladstones are used to that ........ they really are a jokeWinston19 said:

Then a complaint should be made to the IPC that one of their members is pretending to be a member of the BPA AoS when they are not.
(The BPA should be warned as well.)
Complaints should also go to the DVLA and the DVLA Kadoe team. PPCs must be a member of an ATA and abide by their CoP in order to obtain keeper data via their Kadoe contract.
At lease one judge said the CoP should be considered as being mandatory, not advisory.
