Post the link but remove the https part and also any www part - that should work.

PS - https://www.pfssolicitors.co.uk/disputes/debt-recovery/ applies for this solicitor company. Editing that to make it work so you could post it would be pfssolicitors.co.uk/disputes/debt-recovery/ :)

Board guides for this forum are savvy, soolin, and Crabman (case sensitive). Use the notification "envelope" icon to send them a message asking them to edit or even delete your individual post. If you click on the part that begins Today at, you can send the URL of just the post rather than the whole thread.

There's no way VCS can can hope to pursue a claim (anywhere in the UK) when the signs on the car park (and ergo the 'contract') is in the name of an entirely different organisation.

    1. Contact your MP and recant this sorry tale of deception
    2. Contact your MSP and recant this sorry tale of deception
    3. Report the solicitors to the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) for their deliberate misleading of a member of the public with threats on behalf of an organisation that has no lawful interest in pursuing the case.

You need to go on the offensive, not try to take cover in the shadows. Kill this dead.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Thanks. And should I just ignore the letters from solicitors in the meantime?

My view is, that while they brandish 'Solicitors' in their letterheads to correspondence with you, they are just acting in the role of debt collectors. Debt collectors can be ignored, they have no powers. But you make up your own mind, you have the correspondence, you definitely live closer to them than I do. Not responding and waiting to see what, if anything, is their next move won't be detrimental. This is not in any way a criminal case. Stop panicking, you have plenty of time to see how it plays out, don't become their victim.

We have seen spasmodic Pollock Fairbridge Schiavone threats here before, none of which have materialised into anything beyond the first mention of them.

Highly unlikely to get a claim for a single PCN in Scotland because the Simple Procedure doesn't enable Claimants to add any costs for claims under £300, we understand.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you. So do you suggest just ignoring until they give up?
