Solar and smart meters

The rather bland and poorly written reply I got from E.On Solar Team made all sorts of ridiculous statements that had nothing to do with the questions I had asked and then went on to say that I would move to actual export.  I asked them to answer my questions, rather than just pasting irrelevant comments together and again questioned the export point, stating that the last time I asked I was told that I would remain on deemed export.

They have not replied for the past 3 months or so!  No skin off my nose, as having or not having a smart meter will change nothing for me - I can already monitor import and export and know exactly what each device consumes... 

SMETS2 electricity meters have import and export indexing built into the technical requirement. Both my L&G E470 (replaced by Octopus because of a reactive power issue with the PW2) and my present Kaifa M120 show import and export.
