Loss of text, after transferring from EE to 3

Anyone else had issues when transferring from EE (or any other network) to 3.
First instance the PAC number I entered into order did not work, so had to go through process twice to transition my number across.  Then there was no mobile data, and after contacting support found I needed to set up an APN in quite detailed way to get 3 reception.  Now I am having real issues with texts!  All works fine if someone from same network sends me a message or in fact o2, all works great.  However if someone from EE tries to send a text they get a delivery failure and I do not get anything, which I have found to be a pain as some of the websites that use secondary authentication are using EE network.  It's at the point I have had to change method of authentication from GOV.UK tax portal sites to ring me with authentication as opposed to message me.  Anyone else had these issues or know of a fix.  3 Support tell me I have to get on touch with EE to resolve, EE say its not there problem!

You need to get the front line agents at Three to pass this to network support (who are not customer facing). They will talk to the same dept at EE and get a fix.
If the front line agent don't understand that, ask to talk to a team leader.

This is a PAC issue. As the second poster stated you need to get this escalated to the internal tech teams. I've seen it before and it can only be resolved by the porting teams.

I had similar issues moving to 3 from Vodafone.  Initially my mobile data didn't work and when they fixed that they broke something which allowed me to receive calls and texts!

Do we still have to set/check message centre number these days my recent phones seem to just work.
Years ago when working with phones that was something we had to check when messing about swapping sims from different carriers

When I went from Three to Lebara recently everything worked apart from OTPs.
I then realised I'd connected to the wrong network so moved to where i should have been then set up the correct APN settings manually.
