TalkTalk 150 fibre

Hi,
I'm currently with sky ultrafast, however offer/contract is coming to an end. Best Sky can offer me is £33 per month (up from current £22).
Looking at signing up to TalkTalk 150 fibre (equivalent of Sky ultrafast), had TalkTalk before no issue.
Has anyone had any experience of 150 fibre product and the installation process? Also how much are you paying for monthly for talktalk fibre 150?
Thanks in advance.

Is fibre to the premises (FTTP) actually available in your area. They'll have to get fibre to your house either underground or from poles (if it from poles then you'll see the distribution units at the top and the poles will have yellow labels on them). Dunno what they do for underground installations
I'm with BT FTTP and the optical fibre cable comes directly into the house from the pole and terminates within an Optical Network Terminal (ONT) which needs a mains supply. the router is then connected to the ONT with an ethernet cable so you need mains power for that as well. As Its OpenReach I guess that Sky & TT will be similarNever under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -
No, it will be a G.Fast fibre delivery. Unfortunately don't have FTTP... yet. However TalkTalk insist on an engineer install for G.Fast which is strange, considering it is already installed with Sky.0
