You can also open it over the phone. It doesn't say that on the first page, but when you click on "apply" you get this option:Croeso69 said:
Cannot open it online - post or branch only. Where's my ink and quill?Bimbly said:It's a good tip - thanks to the OP!

Very old school. They have internet banking so seems a strange omission not to be able to apply on line.EarthBoy said:

At least for some, possibly for all Branches/Agencies, you get an email as a result of requesting a call-back. That email says something about a maturing account and that they will post the maturity options to you.................................EarthBoy said:

If OP is also right about the 'another product'
Maybe they will withdraw this product after 2 weeks and have RS 2.0 with 1.75%
I can't see this 3.5% last past April0 -
Or a perfect way to limit the uptakeCroeso69 said:

I as just relaying what my wife was told, in branch. She missed out on qualifying for this product by less than a week. I’m hopeful for something bit more than 1.75% if another product comes along though. A £250 per month at 2.5% would be a direct replacement for what she closed would be ok. Anyway, who knows, it was a member of counter staff talking to my wife who is largely uninterested in rates or anything else to do with savings or investments lol. Will see if anything else appears.P3 said:If OP is also right about the 'another product'

I got the same, or at least a very similar, email when I requested a postal application pack. It sounds like they are using the same auto-response for several different purposes, and confusing people as a result.colsten said:

I spoke to the London branch (Strand) today and they said they will accept forms emailed to them as well as by post0

As mentioned on the Regular Saver thread, the application form has been available online for download since the launch day.stuartm said:I spoke to the London branch (Strand) today and they said they will accept forms emailed to them as well as by post0 -
It has, but I was talking about sending in completed forms via email which I’d not seen mentioned here and though people may find useful3
