Quotes are normally eligible for acceptance for up to 30 days, companies keep the data for much much longer for the purposes of data analysis on pricing sensitivity etcdunstonh said:Quote records are typically kept for upto 30 days. I was going by a past message from an insurer that used to post to the board who said they keep quote data for 30 days if the person doesn't do an application and that the anti-fraud measures would drop off after that.Sandtree said:

Thank you everyone who responded to my post.
I managed to get insurance with good enough price through internet. I tried to call directly to get quote from insurance companies that did offer quotes before anti-fraud system activated but it did not help. The customer service persons told me that system was showing there was no quote possible and that they did not know reason why there was not a single quote given out from system but I did.... So at the end I found out it does not matter if you call in, do it with comparison site or use quote service directly from their websites. If that anti-fraud system activates it's done.
At least I learned what to do and not do in the future. I am happy that mistake did not cost us as much. Thanks again for advices and information

When counter fraud drops off is a separate question. We used to keep quote data in theory for 3 years from the end of the relationship but system limitations meant, at the time it was indefinite (sure that’s been fixed by now)dunstonh said:
