Thanks, is there anyway to find out what that is? Would a DSAR request bring up that information. I’m getting to the point where I’m not bothered about joining them, I just want to understand the issue.

More than likely not.  It's almost certainly commercially sensitive information.

Yes.

Even if you did find out I strongly suspect there won't be anything you can do about it anyway.

Just use a mvno, BT is one and Virgin is another but they are moving to another network at some point.
