essexgal - you arent being thick, the search facility is rubbish but they like to get feedback about the site so maybe if enough people told them about it they might do something about it.

    Thanks jacksons mum.

I think that their search is the only thing that really lets them down compared to ebay. Have left them comment via their feedback.

I've decided to sign up and am really pleased I did.

Its very easy to list items, much simpler than Ebay, and it really is FREE.

I sold one of my shirts that I don't wear much for £10 and that's exactly what I got paid though PayPal, no fees taken off - great!

Yes there are some things on there that are too expensive, but you DONT have to buy them do you?!?!?

Also, you can submit an offer lower and try your lucky - kind of like bartering really.

My only criticism is that there needs to be more stuff on there. I suppose this will come with time though.

Anyone else given it a go?

This is one of the owners! I wasted so much time on this site, it looks like there are loads of listings but when you click through to their owners facebook accounts they are ll from this jendy guy and his mates. No wonder I didn't get any responces from the items I posted, I think a lot of the stuff on here is just to reel us in. I understand the need to promote your business if you have just set up and swapping clothes is a fab idea, but at least allow the site to grow organically instead of putting up these silly listings and pretending to be a real user. It makes me mad! I'll be sticking to sites that have been running for the last few years: freecycle.org, swapz and whatsmineisyours.com for now!
  • there are a few genuine users and i have sold a couple of things with no problems, but now i have given up due to the amount of time wasters buying stuff and not paying. member Laura0079 bought 22 items off me and hasnt paid, i couldnt be bothered relisting and have listed on ebay in bundles and made more money anyway.

    Anyone tried this recently?

I had only listed one pair of jeans due to the above comments but someone offered me £25 for them the other day and so I ended up with £28 through paypal, cost £2.81 to post them then no fees at all.

I've now had a big spurt of listing things, not sure if it's OK to post a link to my items? I think if enough people got on this it could be great as I'm sick of ebay and their fees and the hassle.

I've just tried to sign up and thought it had all gone through but when I tried to log in it said username and password invalid even though I've done it right. Do you get a confirmation email with a verification link because I haven't had anything? Thanks
