Bigwardrobe.com is the new and exciting way to swap things you don't wear for things you will, OR turn your unwanted clothes back into cash.
It's really simple. Add some clothes you don't wear anymore to Bigwardrobe.com and soon you will start receiving offers (swaps, cash or a combination of both) from other members. Join now – it's 100% free!
^^ Sorry about the blurb I copied it from the site.
No listing or selling fees, free to join - can't lose.
Plus you can put on your ebay name so people can check your ebay feedback.
I have just added some stuff and it was quick and easy, read T&C's and seems pretty good. Wasn't sure what section to post this in, so please move if its wrong.

I wouldn't use that as I stopped using ebay due to there being too many fakes and all the charges....hence my interest in this.
I like the sound of swapping my stuff too, better for the environment. There's far too much waste in fashion and clothes in general.0 -
Looks ok

I have loadsa clothes I need to sell, but was put off by the high ebay fees. May take a chance on this site.
Do you have to offer close to their guide prices?0 -
I just looked into it abit more. It doesnt seem too great, as people are asking RIDICULOUS prices for used items, you could get the new version for cheaper! Also, the listings aren't very detailed, and most people have no feedback at the mo.I

I've decided to sign up and am really pleased I did.
Its very easy to list items, much simpler than Ebay, and it really is FREE.
I sold one of my shirts that I don't wear much for £10 and that's exactly what I got paid though PayPal, no fees taken off - great!
Yes there are some things on there that are too expensive, but you DONT have to buy them do you?!?!?
Also, you can submit an offer lower and try your lucky - kind of like bartering really.
My only criticism is that there needs to be more stuff on there. I suppose this will come with time though.
Anyone else given it a go?0 -
ive just listed my first item and it was really easy. does anyone know how long the item will stay on for if it doesnt sell?
how do they make their money if there are no fees at all?0 -
Apparently listings stay on forever or until you choose to remove it or you accept an offer!
One of my friends has had something on there for a couple of weeks now :-)
I was interested in how they make money as it does seem too good to be true. I sent them an email which they replied to saying that they plan to add additional optional services that people can pay for but everything that you can use now will remain totally free.
I think they mean like extra pictures in listings and listing highlights like ebay do - which seems fair enough to me.0 -
yeah, seems good, it says in the T&C that they can introduce fees whenever they like which is fair enough. i wouldnt mind paying a small final value fee, its when you have to pay to list something which hasnt sold that annoys me.
it only has 794 members at the moment which is not a lot at all - and i bet most of those are only selling. im going to tell everyone i know about it0 -

I couldn't agree more.
I'm going to post a message on our work intranet to try get more people involved
I'd like to know more on what additional services they have planned, sounds very interesting...maybe we could suggest some?0
