I have read the newbies guide, but have to admit that my brain finds it difficult to soak up.nosferatu1001 said:Why do people ask the next step? Have you read the newbies?
The "end goal" is you not paying a scam invoice...
I've just printed out the Newbies guide and re-read it.
The original post was a Letter of Claim - do I need to look at the MCOL now, or await a letter from the courts?
Once again - thank you for your assistance, and apologies if I seem a bit slow on the uptake!0 -
IF it is a letter of/before claim and not a N1 claim form, there is no way you can do any good on MCOL; you would need a court supplied reference and a password.3

You got the SAR for the blindingly obvious reason that you have now 'seen their hand' (all evidence photos they will rely on) so defending the claim will be easier and there will be no surprises. No idea why people wonder what to do next when they get the SAR. You can see the photos, not us! You can see how crap the signs and evidence is...you can see (not us) whether this is a POFA NTK, you can see everything now.
Can't stand it when people ask what the 'next step' is when they get back the tedious old SAR reply. Clearly someone at this stage is just waiting for the claim form, as the NEWBIES THREAD tells them will come.
I feel like deleting the entire NEWBIES thread every time I read 'what's the next step?'. We are not teaching people to walk.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ps , you will not receive any letters from a court , not for some time
Any further letters will be either from debt collectors , legal firms , or from the CCBC in Northampton
None of them are courts
Once you have nominated your own court down the line , that court will write to you
The end goal is to always beat the sc#mmers !!1 -
I sent an email to the company that owns the lands and was told they were not in control of the parking but “..However I can check with the Group Nexus / CP Plus if they would accept a reduced PCN amount. I would suggest to them that the original £60 is honoured in this case. Please let me know if you would accept this.”Do I accept liability by agreeing to the reduced PCN?0

That would send them a clear signal that you are hooked.Shuffty said:I sent an email to the company that owns the lands and was told they were not in control of the parking but “..However I can check with the Group Nexus / CP Plus if they would accept a reduced PCN amount. All they need to do then is reel in the catch.
They will refuse your offer and pursue with vigour.
And yes, that is as good as admitting to the alleged transgression.
The court will see that too.1 -

If you pay this you may be funding people smuggling, modern slavery and the importation of banned substances, you are not dealing with John Lewis here. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
