Currently, VM offered BB only 100mg @£29pm, I'm condsidering switching to Plusnet BB, 60mg, called ID, witheld numbers blocked, evening / weekend calls @£34pm

Thanks for all the comments re Plusnet, rather than create another thread, I've amended my thread due to the comparison websites, average 63mg is suitable for my needs, however, why the price difference, lot's of companies I've not heard of, Zen, onestream, direct save, etc., etc., not sure whether to stick with known brand or try one of the new companies.

These 3 more or less offer the same, apart from the price difference

Vodaphone £22.95pm x 24months - 63mg, can't see any charge for engineer visit

Plusnet £24.99pm x 18months - 66mg, + £49.99 for engineer visit,

TalkTalk £24.00pm x 18months - 67mg, can't see any charge for engieer visit

I have never had an issue with Plusnet.

My son had Plusnet for several years - no issues at all.

I had no issues the short time i used them .

Was with them for 18 months, no issues.

I've been with them for 13 years - fortunately with only a couple of problems which were resolved fairly quickly HOWEVER be aware that their Customer Services have gone downhill over the past couple of years.
If you have a problem now with connection or billing it can be a battle to resolve according to feedback on their own forums.
