The actual words from POFA are: -
The relevant period for the purposes of sub-paragraph (4) is the period of 14 days beginning with the day after that on which the specified period of parking ended.

OP - if you wer ethe driver then POFA will not help you. Think how you will answer the question IF it is asked.

OK, I was reacting to the post that said this was their defence.  Hadn't read back through the thread.

I just got a letter from the Court dated 13th of June, which says I have 3 days to reply to the email (sic its a letter!), but they do give an email address. There is a list of 10 questions, most of which don't seem relevant. But today would be the last day to email them.

There is a heading date of 2.7.21

Should I just email the cccadjournments email address saying NA to the questions. They also ask how long I think the hearing will take. I do not have clue!

    Any advice appreciated.

I don't think anyone can possibly answer your questions as you haven't told us what you have received - other than ten questions.

    Heading date of 2.7.21.
    What is that?
Are you perhaps telling us that you have a hearing set for 2nd July 2021?

    So the letter has

    "HEARING DATE

I am writing from the The County Court at Central Lonson, re. the above hearing. "

They propose a remote hearing, and name a judge who has 10 questions:

    1. Have all outstanding directions bveen complied with?
    2. Is the matter fully effective?
    3. Has the relevant (hearing) fee been paid....
    4. Can you confirm the time estimate for the hearing?

    etc/.

Well if I were to be asked those four questions, my answers would be...

    1) To the best of my knowledge, all directions addressed to me have been complied with.
    2) I am sorry, I do not understand the question.
    3) The payment of any hearing fee is a matter for the Claimant.
    4) Sorry, but I have no previous experience so cannot answer that question.

Thank you Kieth. It is as though it is addressed to the Claimant, with some questions that might be relevant to me (is an interpreter required).

To show willing I will email back now. Appreciate the cross-check.

If the hearing goes ahead, I guess I should get myself ready. Presumably, the court will confirm the remote hearing details prior so can prep after that.

    Edit: it does ask:

    8. Do you wish this hearing to take place face to face at court or are there any reasons why it may not be appropriate for this hearing to take place remotely?

Should I say I prefer in person?

No, you won’t get in-person this Summer.  Have you filed and served your witness statement and evidence?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I think I just submitted what occurred and the lack of clear signage. What is the witness statement?

Will be interesting to see if they follow through and pay the fee. If they do I'll need to understand a little more about what I am doing/asking for with regard to the fines. I am happy to pay them if need be.
