I still haven't been contacted by SP. I'd left YE and my final credit calculated before it ceased trading. All I require is a cheque from SP.

PS: The link in the OP doesn't go anywhere.

Really, I'm not furious. I was expecting it to take this long, and probably a bit longer.
  • Hold on a minute I am a former tonik customer and haven’t had mine yet surely they should be behind us! 🤣

It was probably meant to link here instead of back to itself:

    I'm not furious either.
  • I don't know who is taking the p**s here. Is it YE administrators dragging their heels, not finalizing YE billing, not transferring data to SP in a timely matter, or is it SP, whose credibility was an issue pre YE/Tonik, that can't copy with an energy Company switch.
Whichever I trust OFGEM will take a note, but I won't hold my breath
When will my final YE bill arrive................ will Nelson ever get his eye back??

I'm not furious either.  Would have been better if they could have complete the switch from YE to SP within a couple of weeks rather than best part of month so we could have switched back out sooner (although that didn't exactly work out well for me 😅)  but I wasn't expecting refund from YE for a few months anyway.

I'm more furious that Ofgem didn't SOLR Simplicity to EDF as well as GNE and hence have been put on effectively a cap rate but that's a different issue

Assuming that EDF's offer for SoLR of Simplicity/YE was not as good as it was for GNE, if they even submitted a bid at all.  They must have seen GNE's 360,000 customer base as an attractive proposition compared to Simplicity/YEs modest 50,000/74,000.
