Morning everyone.
Sending love to RedRuby and her family.
It's been another morning at the screenface, after rare day yesterday at the physical office, archiving student files. My wonky ankle made its presence known last night, so I'll be under an icepack with my crochet now I've finished for the day.
Dinner will be a mixture of whatever's left in the freezer so that we can defrost it tomorrow.
Take care everyone.Surviving the ups and downs of life with DH

It is a long time since I posted on here, life has not been easy over the past 12 months. DB had a pacemaker fitted in July, in September he was an in patient and caught covid, I was not amused. Fortunately he was asymptomatic and was discharged home whilst still in quarantine, so I too was quarantined as well. He was discharged from hospital with a care package which lasted for 2 weeks, he had improved considerably. Since then he has been ok apart from palpitations which he seems to get a fortnightly intervals. He has a special pacemaker which transmits each night to the pacemaker clinic, so they are aware of whats going on. I have been on medication for my osteoporosis, which I take once a week, its not my favourite, I feel lousy for two or three days, begin to feel better and its time to take it again........
My ex husband passed away in April, he had been in a home for 2 years, after his last hospital stay he was put on the Liverpool Pathway, so it was obvious that his was not going to improve. We were shielding, so did not go to his funeral.
The family are either front line workers or working from home, my grand daughter is manager of a travel agents, it looks like she may loose her job. She nad her husband bought a new house 2 years ago, she is the main wage earner, so life looks as if it might get rather sticky for them.
I had been thinking about Gers, last time I posted she was looking after her Mother. I understand that Redruby's brother has died, so sorry to hear that, my sympathy goes to her and her family, especially her mother. I know only too well how devastating it is to loose a child. It was 5 years at Christmas since Nicholas passed away.. We all miss him so much.
We have both had the first injection, next one is due at the end of March.
I hope you are all coping with the situation as best you can.
