Furthermore, your experience seems to be encouraging others to take part in mediation.

It's a little different between the claimant's state of 'anxiety' and that of the defendant I would suggest, especially in private parking cases where the claimant has very little to lose, but the defendant has a major loss potentially at stake. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Mediation is worth considering when large sums are involved and where liability has already been admitted and it is a question of the amount such as an insurance claim.
A relative of mine went to mediation over an insurance claim where a substantial amount had already been offered. They managed to increase the figure that had been offered by mediation and avoided going to court which would have been risky when large sum was involved. The relative had been off work for several years and had several operations.

I can see how you could be doubting your meditation. For starters, many types of guided meditations exist, and therefore isolating the one that will help you is difficult. I would recommend trying out different types to find out which one suits your needs best.

Mediation is not suitable for scam parking tickets imo.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.2

The one-post-wonder is a spammer in the making ... they're talking about meditation not mediation. 😂
Reported as spam.

Mediation and other ADR absolutely has a place generally.
As others have noted, bigger sums in dispute or multiple parties, there's a real opportunity to reach consensus.
In small claims with limited application of costs rules and in relation to parking it's difficult to see how it adds hugely to the process.2 -
Whilst it could be a genuine error/dyslexia, I'm am pretty confident that I'm right.
