I cannot reveal the details but I am very pleased with the result. It was a case involving a property sale, and the D, agreed to pay the claim in full, including refunding me Bargepole's fees. A nice lady adjudicated, totally reasonable, and no pressure.

I suggest that ADR concerning a property sale should be approached in a totally different manner to any thought of ADR where private parking issues are involved.
Also, as you are unable to give details of your mediation, your experience is of no help to anyone with a parking issue.
Furthermore, your experience seems to be encouraging others to take part in mediation. People who read this parking forum might read your misplaced thread and decide that mediation is the thing for them too.
Don't get me wrong... I'm pleased that you had a good experience which seemed to suit your circumstance. It's just that, in my opinion, it is wrong to even hint that mediation may be a solution to the issues people face on this board.4 -
In this case, Mr D was the Claimant.
Mediation is always a good option when you are the Claimant, far less so when you are the Defendant, particularly in a parking case.
However, that's now DP Dance 2 - Defendants 0 in cases where I've acted for him, so I should be getting the Diplomatic Medal of Honour some time soon
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx.
