  • Thank you for all your comments. Its a Volvo v40 so not been used for a racer. I bought it from a garage in 2019 at 9962 miles. I was told that the car had a full valid HPI check and one owner, this was a lease and was a Motability car.
The mileage now is only 20500, i haven't driven it a lot.  I think that makes sense Adrian, perhaps KM were mistaken for miles?
Its where do i go to resolve the issue so i can sell the car, nothing wrong with the car, its lovely, i am moving to a lease.
I am going to go to Motorpoint, where i bought the car in 2019.

There y'go, then. If they raise an eyebrow, point out to them the issue pre-dates you buying the car from them...
  • Thank you everyone for all your comments. I’m not having much luck. HPI are requesting written evidence of the job card from the service in 2018 to see if it was an admin error.  Motorpoint are saying they are still checking the information, over a week on. I didn’t have much luck with citizens advice. Any one have any idea at how I can resolve this? Any thoughts really appreciated!
