  • Ok, seems I'm stuffed. Steer clear of these people, folks. The disappointing thing is that I'd followed him for years and he really seemed like a good guy. Clearly he isn't. Thanks for the clear information all.

By the look of it you largely got what you signed up to, there are lots of these schemes in the USA, they are almost always never value for money, what is offered is usually shallow, obvious and of no real value. As well as the posts above pointing out the potential jurisdictional issues, one also has to ask what was actually in the package you signed up for. If it basically included emails and a few online video calls then you have no real grounds to contest it.

Having just looked at him online I would not spend £0.07 on this guy, let alone £7,000.
It offered 1 to 1 coaching and a 15 person masterclass. I got one coaching call in months and the mastermind had 41 people in it. So not what they advertised at all.
Looking at the way his site is written, the email is the "1 to 1" coaching and the "masterclass" is purely a "group session", not limited in attendees.

    >>How I used this exact method to build a multiple 7-figure coaching program with 20 employees and clients who are generating hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue every single month...<<

    That just screams pyramid scheme.
Well, yeah. "I've made a fortune out of gullible people on the internet. Send me money to find out how!"

There is at least one thing you have learnt, for the princely sum of £7,000, in a rather painful manner: don't do business with people on the grounds that they seem to be good.

This is sadly the reality when you buy from developing nations with inadequate consumer rights protections such as the US.

As above, it looks like they have largely kept to their terms and conditions, so there will be no right to a refund.

His emails do limit them to 15. But anyhow. I've kissed it goodbye. May my money do him much harm :-

I think I would give it one more shot with the chargeback/bank highlighting specific bits in the terms and conditions that were agreed to and highlighting the clear evidence where this has not been received. Phone them and see what they say.

BUT... unfortunately this is USA consumer law so your only course of action is in a US court of law if all else fails.

You should certainly make it VERY clear in as many reviews as you can that this guy is a rip off merchant. I would be leaving (factual) reviews in as many places as possible so that if others google him they can avoid him. He might even read it himself and insist you take it down, in which case you can tell him you'd like your £7000 back first...
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

You only get one shot at a chargeback. If it's been rejected then that is the end. Only hope would be a pre-arbitration. But you only have 21 days from the rejection to do this, and it is in the hands of Mastercard to then make a decision.
In reality Pre-Arbs never work from a consumer point of view.

Great shame you didn't pay it on a credit card instead.
