I would just like to point out AGAIN that Freecycle in this country has been mostly replaced by Freegle which is a UK based charity and has close to 500 separate groups across the whole country so would MSE towers please switch to Freegle when they are talking about stuff for free.
Just to add that all bar about 60 groups are still open even though they have certain restrictions.

Freegle was created due to some petty arguments by moderators.  Who cares?  They both do the same thing, I use both.  Freegle is completely unnecessary.  In fact both are since Gumtree has a freebies section.

I use both. I prefer the freecycle site as the freegle site is slow to load and seems to be managed by an amateur who constantly fiddles with silly halloween, Christmas, Easter etc themes. Recently it also seems designed for phone users.

I've just checked my local sites and freecycle has 1/3 more current members than freegle.

Why does it matter to you?

I've just clicked your link. Very slow to load and job adverts.

I doubt if you will get a reply as the OP was posted some 18 months ago and the poster was Banned about 14 months ago.
