If you miss a call from them you can’t call them back … if you could it would be no good, as you’d missed your opportunity - WHATEVER reason you may give them.
It also means you aren’t calling some premium rate number back to claim.

By calling from a withheld number, or by saying that it might be withheld, but in the event of an unforeseen issue etc., it might not be … how does that enable them to offer higher prizes??

If you miss the call then it means they haven't paid out any money that day.  That's how it makes them able to offer more money "jackpots" and more profit.

Ok, I can see your logic there.

I genuinely still don’t understand how them calling from a withheld number has any impact on the prize amounts they offer, but I think there’s possibly been some confusion in the discussion & you might not have meant that when you said it, so never mind.

Day 25 - 2 rings gent says hello, presenter says oh no, I’m so sorry why gutted for you, gent says why, presenter says gent say make me a winner. Gent says he thought it was his sister ringing. 

  After call ends presenter says she is gutted for him so close to winning £80,000, will bank this money and roll it over to Monday. 

  Monday’s amount - will be announced on Monday’s breakfast show. 

  (surprised gent did not already have his sisters number as a contact and noticing the unfamiliar number he could have said make me a winner and won)

agree at 4pm just say "make me a winner" even if it is the Queen calling just say it, people can hang up and you can re call them if they are not the radio station.

I had a missed call from 07454194213 yesterday at 16:48. Been stressing I missed 'the' call. Looks like it wasn't them. Glad I found this site 👍🏻

Day 26- 2 rings gent says make me a winner, presenter says no way yes and says to gent you’ve just won £50,000.00p, gent says seriously fantastic. 

  Presenter says to gent he must have a proper I think she said party, gent replies don’t you worry and I think he said I will. Presenter asks gent what he might spend cash, gent says a new car, presenter asks gent car he drives and he replies a BMW and will upgrade to a newer BMW. Presenter ends call by saying to gent that he enjoys shopping for the BMW, congratulates him on £50,000 richer and says see it can happen. 
  Tuesday’s amount- £60,000.00p

I had a missed call from an unknown mobile at about 4.30 and couldn't answer as I was on a Teams call to work, am relieved it wasn't me!

Similar thing happened to me once. I received a call at 4:05pm from a withheld number whilst during a teams meeting, I ended my teams call and answered the phone, it wasn’t the comp so hung up and rejoined my meeting, told my colleagues I was experiencing poor internet connection.

  Wednesday’s amount- £70,000.00p

Phone will be busy is this safe I.e will the prize 1000% be gone by then

Hi Karim, Make me a winner closes each day at 4pm and they play the winning call around 4.44pm-4.50pm, so you should be ok for the 5pm meeting call. It appears they ring soon after the 4pm, but could ring theoretically anytime from 4pm to when they play the winning call.
