If it was them, there’s nothing you can do about it now, even if you do find out if the number was them.
If you can’t find out if the number definitely wasn’t them, you’ll just send yourself crazy wondering …Wins - £48k 2019, £5k 2020, £1000 2021, £280 2022 ... £196k to the £1/4 million target ...4 -

With respect, it’s not difficult to remember & I personally would rather have the chance at winning those sums of money, without the need to purchase anything or spend any money, than to not have the opportunity. If they were to remove the “skill” element, you’d likely have a greater chance at winning, but it would cost you each time & there are people who’d enter out of situational desperation, who could ill afford to enter & get themselves into worse positions because of it. That would be cruel & irresponsible of the competition organiser, so I’m grateful that they do it the way that they do.
I accept that they make money from it - they’re a business, not a charity; but other radio stations don’t provide a free route & charge over £2 a time - that’s £10 a week for 1 entry a day … or about £525 a year … & because it doesn’t bill straight away, but goes on your phone bill, people can get carried away & run up big debts in a very short space of time … I know someone who managed to run up a £10,000 + phone bill!!! 😳Wins - £48k 2019, £5k 2020, £1000 2021, £280 2022 ... £196k to the £1/4 million target ...11 -

Yeah it's a cruel concept in my opinion letting people forget the phrase and then telling them how much they could have won. I don't care about excuses like it's a business, these are real people having their heads messed with.3

I can't remember if it's one of these comps, either this one or the cash register one - I've heard the presenter say that you could receive a call just after 3pm/4pm. Then just before they've played the recording, the presenter has said "stay by your phones, as you could be receiving a call". So maybe what @Etccarmageddon has said is true for a lot of people.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £30,358.132

The girl who does the Make me a Winner calls really does mislead people. Presenters say after 4.
Even though I agree entrants should be ready to answer correctly, perhaps cutting them off straight away if they say Hello would be less evil
It's an unknown/private number so they'd never know who called.2
