TonyK88 said:Can I just ask you all something. If we enter via mobile, we are charge £2, + standard network charge. I just looked at my bill, and for every entry I made I got charged £2, plus additional for the reply message we get back. Is that Normal? And lastly, why would one enter via mobile, if it can be done online for free ? Can anyone let me know. Many thanks
I guess not everyone is aware they can enter online for free. The competition prizes rely on people paying to enter to cover the prize money. If there wasn't a paid entry, there probably wouldn't be any competitions.5 -

“ And lastly, why would one enter via mobile, if it can be done online for free ?”Not meaning this competition specifically but when they talk about this type on the radio, they emphasise the text route “Grab your phone, it’s so easy, text this right now, before you forget” then say other stuff, then right at the end (after people may have already sent their text and tuned out) they say “see online for T’s&C’s and online entry” (not always even saying it’s free).3

As far as I’m aware, it’s the reply that incurs the cost, technically not the text you send.2

I wasn't listening when they played today's call on the radio but the DJ has just said whoever they called today answered with "Hello" not "Make Me A Winner".....
So if anyone had a missed call about 4:10pm today, don't worry - it wasn't them calling you!Best win ever: Trip to the Galapagos Islands in 20109 -
Hi Liz, thanks so much for the update. I had my phone close by around 4pm, just in case!
I have listened to my recording of the winning call today:
Day 13- presenter says £45,000 up for grabs today, so far this week not had a winner.
2 rings gent says hello, presenter says oh no not hello, I think gent says I know even though I ? entered. Presenter asks gent does he know why she is saying oh no. Gent says make me a winner and I think he said really quickly he had not entered today and did not even realise. Presenter says to gent that once you are in the draw we can call you anytime and says she is not going to say how much was on offer today to gent. Gent says he knows it is 45 and says thank you anyway to presenter. Presenter says to gent have a lovely tea tonight to cheer himself up, gent says he will try and says thank you so much.Presenter after call ends says that is horrific and hates doing that and this is why she says you need to answer every phone call you get say make me a winner if it is your mum or your doctor it does not matter and answer within 5 rings and hopefully you will be winning the next amount of cash tomorrow.Thursday’s amount-£50,000.00p10
