Sometimes I think they don't always ring someone every day, I think they play a prerecorded failed/"hello" call just to deliberately roll it over to get more entries and more money. Strange that if someone won £96k, the next day it's £97k, but if it rolled over it's still only £1k more...
Who enters and doesn't glue themselves to their phone between 1500 and 1510??!
Well I am one of those people. I desperately try to be "glued to the phone" between 3pm and 3.30pm but as I'm in work I can't guarantee I'm not in a meeting or dealing with an issue that I can't get out of.Why do mice have such small balls?

Many people would enter on a particular day and if there was not a winner they would perhaps not realise that their entries would roll over. Accordingly they would not expect a call if they had not entered on another day.IainHL said:

A week or two ago the Scottish Cash Register competition transmitted at around 3:05 that the person who answered that day was not eligible and so the amount would roll over to the next day. Therefore on that day they must have phoned just after 3pm. They also do apply the rules very strictly so if you do enter the Scottish one you need to be sure you are eligible.
Bye the bye, when I won some years ago, the call came at just about 3:20 and was transmitted (in an edited version thank goodness) sometime after 3:35. I stop everything between 3pm and 3:30pm just in case.....good time to catch up with a newspaper or book and a cup of tea/coffee. With a biscuit. Chocolate coconut preferably.5 -
