Yep used the Hits Radio Network number this morning and it worked fine.

I stopped entering this competition and the Scottish cash register when they removed the free online entries (had done them for years).

I now have a sim with unlimited calls and texts (hooray!) and I saw many people were still able to access free entries with the right phone number. Looking at the terms and conditions on these comps I can't see if there is an entry route that is just the cost of the call and not the £2 entry fee. Does it still exist?

Having spent the last 3 days reading my new smartphone manual and begging the phone to work for me it's now my brain that appears to be non functional.

I'm new to this, can you just ring the same number 42 times? Or is it a certain number of entries per each number listed above?

Yes, you can call the same number 42 times. Or any combination of the numbers up to a total of 42 calls.
