You don't need a contract phone  .... just a sim only deal, much cheaper way of doing it.

I have myself, partner & 2 daughters on GB's of data, unlimited calls & texts for about £70 per month, and I'm sure there are cheaper sim only deals out there.

It worked for me!! Thank you for the heads up. I have a sim only deal  didn't realise it would work, always thought it had to be credit rather than minutes.

Did I miss a call from make me a winner? 

Can someone please put me out of my misery as last Friday 31st March, I had a missed call from a Basingstoke number at 1525 roughly, rang 5 times and I missed it! When I clicked on hits radio I heard someone had won but I know it was a guaranteed £125k so wondered if anyone can tell me if they called someone first who didn’t pick up? Thank you so much for this chat xxx

It's normally a private or withheld number they call from.

They also wouldn't call you more than once. If you don't pick up (and it's a day that's a guaranteed winner) they'll go straight to a different number, not try the same one multiple times :-:smile:
