I think the next cash giveaway they do they might ditch the free online entry like Northern Ireland’s Cash Call, and Scotland’s Cash Machine competition, the only way you can enter online is via a Win Happy account, which costs £2 for one entry. If you wis to enter for “free” there is a local rate 0330 number you can call, so it will only be free if you have a calling plan that includes free minutes, I.e. something like BT’s Anytime calls.

It's currently very quick to do the free online entries - I tried one of the free phone entries on one of them and it took over 40 seconds to do a single entry, so I guess the idea is to make it less convenient and try and push more people towards paid entries.Best win ever: Trip to the Galapagos Islands in 20103 -
