SD card unsupported !! help please .

Cannot read the card and they suggest to format it, so that it corrupts even more data?

Sounds like a very bad idea. If the data is of value then pay someone to recover the data and

ask them are they going to format it. If they say yes go elsewhere.

A quick format does not delete the data on the disk, so file recovery software can still recover the data

Its not a disk its an sd card .

Never needed quick format or format to use Recuva . Success over the years probably 50% depending upon whats gone wrong .

all a quick format will do is reset the file allocation table on the disc which will not help to say the least.
