Best alternative to gas central heating in 3 storey house with an old boiler and microbore pipes

So, the boiler is very old and will likely need replacing soon.
Bearing in mind, the new regulations against gas boilers - I am investigating my options. I am not sure that a heat pump would work in my property as I have microbore pipes (extra small pipes) that tend to clog easily. Ideally, I would like to bypass the microbore pipes and use some form of electric heating... but the property is also tenanted so I don't think this will go down well with the current occupants. I have moved overseas so I will be selling this property soon so I also don't want to spend too much on any upgrade... any recs would be much appreciated.

This is the LPG Heating oil forum
Perhaps asking in the energy forum that deals with elec/gas will get more replies? The world is not ruined by the wickedness of the wicked, but by the weakness of the good. Napoleon1 -
It sounds like you need to avoid options that would bankrupt your tenants - and also make your house illegal to rent out if the EPC drops too low.The "solution" to the new rules on gas heating is to get a new boiler now. The ban won't be retrospective on existing installs. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0
