I bought a Heat Pump

Here you go, a website with some data on actual installations - https://heatpumpmonitor.org/
It's obviously compiled by those who have put quite a bit of effort into monitoring their system performance and TBH I'm not sure how rigorously it's been collected but it does give some idea of what is possible, probably by those who've put a some effort into tweaking and optimising their systems.
If you go to the links (on the right of the table you can see the monitor outputs and there is a forum, albeit a bit skewed towards the Open Energy Monitor but there may be some hints and tips - https://community.openenergymonitor.org/c/hardware/heatpump/47Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -
Interestingly a couple.of EPC's performed in the last year in our road now class heat pump.technology for heating and hot water as the most efficient mark on the EPC (Very Good)
Finally they are recognising this type of technology👍
If anyone knows the uplift in points from average to very good that would be handy as I can guesstimate out new EPC figure)
available for anyone on https://find-energy-certificate.service.gov.uk/find-a-certificate/type-of-property4 -

The ill-treatment of heat pumps in EPC certification was a ridiculous anomaly and it's very good news that they are now being given due recognition. A quick Google search suggests that none of those calling for change have yet noticed that it has actually happened; well spotted @Mstty .Reed5

Totally agree. I was somewhat shocked a decade ago, how much impact adding PV seemed to have on the EPC. Not complaining, but seemed like a bit of a cheat since it doesn't automatically change the amount of my energy consumption, just the source. Whereas a HP does have a significant impact on energy consumption.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.
For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.1 -
just used the link and shows how bad the EPC scheme is , my house with pv , cavity insulation new windows ranks lower than similar houses on the street without.Maybe installers should notify the EPC scheme when improvments are made.1

Adding a wind turbine would have bought our old house to EPC B
according to their recommendation

good idea coastal watch but you would have to give them to the new owners when you sell your house1
