REVOLUT ACCOUNT FROZEN!

Revolut have my money too. No reason, no time frame, no one to complain to - all frozen! - i feel like i have been robbed. Hoping to get money back soon or could be in big financial trouble. Please avoid these challenger banks/fintech companies and do not rely on them for any serious banking! dont get burnt like me!!!

Whilst I agree that Revolut‘s CS is shambolic, and that their lack of CS should be a huge deterrent, tarring all challenger banks and fintechs with the same brush would be highly unfair. Many of them are perfectly respectable

People seem to be forgetting banks also freeze accounts for no apparent reason. Just check out the bank account section! In those cases it is the same, no time frame and no reason given. All CS can do is say its being investigated. 

Never had any problems myself. Perhaps the only benefit over main banks is that you can go into a branch and get money out, as I understand it.

whats the context? large withdrawal/deposit? crypto e.t.c? multiple failed logins? using vpn's ?

I am happy with Starling no problems, so my 'challenger' banks doing well

If you don't like food at one restaurant, does that mean you shouldn't go to any  due one bad experience?  You will cutting your nose to spite your face

They've taken 500 from me, asked me to prove source which I did and then said they have returned money but haven't. They gave me 50 for Compo I guess but how do I get my money back? They sent proof of payment and source, PayPal, have proved no return. 
I've spoken to Ombudsman  but this is for Xmas. Does anyone have any ideas?

Rev actually supports crypto in their app, but yeah agreed if you randomly dump £100k in there from Coinbase, it'll probably get flagged and you'll have to provide docs.

I've never had an issue with them and use them every single day. Whether it's £100 or £25k, I probably wouldn't use it as my only source of liquid cash though as i've heard the CS isn't good.

I even just wasted money on the new shiny metal gold card for no reason other than my mates hopefully calling me a d1ckhead
