What small DFW things will you do this week 08/02?

Me again, even though I've done nothing basically this evening it's given me time to reflect on debts. I'm so unsure if the dmp is what I want. I'm paying £415 a month and my two lowest CC are £200 each, I'm tempted to cancel and contact each of the CC and Loans and go from there..

Done everything on my list today, apart from use the aubergine because my housemate cooked me dinner this evening! We were also gifted chocolate cake from a neighbour after we helped them with their shopping last week (they were isolating). A winning day!

Tomorrow's DFW activities:
- Walk to and from work - free exercise!
- Take in prepped meal of chilli for lunch and all my tea making bits (chilli is defrosting as we speak)
- My notebook I use for work is almost full already - I ordered a pack of 10 so I'm going to fish another out of my stationary drawer in the morning.
- Do a sort out of clothes. I always put away clothes I haven't worn in a while in storage, they get left there for 6-9 months and then I review again. Some I leave in there longer (if it's not the season for it), some I take out to wear, anything I'm unlikely to wear again gets donated to charity or sold on ebay. It's like getting a new wardrobe every few months!
- Vacuum. My OH has been working away for a week so I want to make the place look nice and welcoming for when he returns. Going to start early with the housework/ cleaning so I'm not overwhelmed come Friday.

@jadewest94 - maybe post on the main forum and see what the advice is? I can see why it would feel like a good win to get those two cards gone.

Another bright sunny day today. I'm opened some windows even though it's freezing to get some fresh air into the house. Still no sign of the washing machine chap so I washed a load of cleaning cloths, tea towels and bath towels in the bath last night. My glutes/hamstrings can attest to the fact this morning! Still, everything seems clean so I'll take that as a win. 

More NEBOSH today and I'll get out for a walk. It snowed on our walk yesterday but only a bit and it didn't settle. I'm enjoying the sunshine... hoping it will make me feel a bit more settled. 

Other than that, OH will be teaching and I might do something crafty if my headspace allows.

yeah, i'm just thinking out loud at the moment
Just a lot going on, just seems pointless paying £415 to one debt when I can pay £200 each to the smaller cards.

Morning all

Very cold and frosty here, but sunny, and no snow. Chilly dog walk done. I have also done freezer inventory, checked the banks and updated my budget book, folded up dry washing from the airer and put it in the airing cupboard to finish off, and listed an item on ebay - I have a few things finishing today, and will review / reduce prices on any that haven't sold. Other things today:

No spending - saving to get that conservatory done!

All meals from home, leftovers today, little cooking needed.

Look for more items to put on ebay - I am a bit limited at the moment as I am low on boxes, so am only listing things that don't need them. I am pleased to have got rid of loads of old sales stock though, and kept my little business going despite a) not being able to go anywhere to buy new stock, and b) the shop where I rent my unit being closed, but I still have to pay the rent (as does the shop owner for the shop, so fair enough, and she is a friend, so I am happy to support her).

Water indoor plants, and I have a chilli seedling up, just one at the moment, but this year's very first seedling

Time for another coffee now I think!

Plucked up the courage and sent a F&F to one of the CC. I plan on making myself a budget properly this evening as i keep putting it off!

Afternoon everyone - hope you are all having a good day. it's just started snowing again here. 

A few small things today:

1. Check online banking and updated spreadsheet - Done. Credit card statement is due to be issued today, but it hasn't appeared yet.
2. Declutter - I keep a number of old storecards, business cards etc. in a drawer "in case I ever need them". They take up too much space in my wallet, so they get shoved in a drawer and forgotten about. When I went through them this morning, some of the shops don't even exist any more, so into the shredder they went, along with a load of receipts I'd kept in case I ever needed to return the item.
3. All meals from stores. Just a sandwich for dinner, a piece of stollen (left over from Christmas) as a mid-afternoon snack, and tea will be sea bass with patatas bravas and roasted vegetables. I bought the sea bass last month as it was reduced due to being near it's sell by date, and it's just sat in the freezer ever since. The veg and potatoes need using up, and I refuse to waste them.

5. No alcohol day
6. Take a wellbeing walk - Done

Some post came for DS3 this morning. He lives with my ex, but that's only about a 10 minute walk away, and there's a park a bit further on from his house, so I thought I'd have a walk round the park, via his house so I could drop the post off. Stupidly, when I got there, I suggested taking his dog with me. Unfortunately the paths were quite icy in places, and even the dog fell over at one point, so I decided it would be safest to stay on the grass. My trainers got absolutely filthy and, even having put them through the washing machine twice, they are still marked in places. Might need to take a look at the 'Old Style' board for tips at getting them clean.

Hi not sure exactly what little things I did today, but I did do my work, I made granola last night, and i actually started my sweater slippers during zoom cpd training - how to engage online learners - unfortunately not the most engaging session. 
Went for a cold run and am intending to take the night off, except for the other slipper otherwise I will have one cold foot tomorrow.
