This is odd, please show us the Order (all pages) with your name and claim number covered.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Here's the redacted copy of the two notices I received:
note highlighted sentence - there have been no previous directions for filing of documents or witness statements. All there was previously was a notice (dated 5th February) advising of Transfer of Proceedings (CCBC to CCHC) and the sentence ' Details of the judge's directions will be sent to you in a notice of allocation.

I would be contacting the court using the method shown on the letter and asking about the part that you highlighted in green and explaining that you have received no previous directions.3
-
Thank you - I will do just that and advise pf the outcome.

Why have you redacted the claimant's details? You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

And ask them if the hearing is a Dispute Resolution preliminary one, because it's only 30 minutes which suggests the case cannot possibly be heard in that time.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Only redacted claimants details because of knowing how they trawl these forums - but it's Napier Parking represented by BW Legal.
Thanks @Coupon-Mad - I've already sent the first request about directions, but will follow up your question when the Court responds. I had no idea that there could be different types of hearing - please excuse my ignorance, what is the significance here?0 -
Just a waste of your time. Glorified Mediation (which you don't want, but the Courts give people no choice about this now because they are trying to save the court's time and money).
A dispute resolution hearing is usually 30 minutes, where a clueless Judge who doesn't deal with parking cases and only knows about ParkingEye v Beavis (Supreme Court) and thinks all parking claims are legit, tries to tell a Defendant that they have no case and their defence is weak and wants to see if the D will settle. It's an ordeal to get past. Don't be put off and DON'T be pressured, you are not settling.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

So having completed the Directions Questionnaire (N180) and ticked the box saying NO I don't want to go to the Small Claims Mediation Service, they're going to try and force me to capitulate - NO WAY - Thanks for the heads up on this one. What a load of BS!0

What a load of BS!We've been dealing with it every day for years! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
