credit card pay time

been advised (on other posts on this page) NOT to pay credit card off untill they have actually prepaired the bill , paying early would "look" like non use of card
I have a capital one , limit £200 , so I often use it to pay for goods upto £200 , then pay it back immediatly from my bank , so that i can use card again
following advice , recently I have waited for the bill , and paid it off then
I am now getting warnings from those companies that like to upsell , expedian , and other 2 that I am "upto maximum on credit limit " and should address this immediatly
seems I am between the devil and the deep ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, £200 , is a very very low limit , I know it will increase but at present its not much use

Just clear in full after each statement. Only make an interim payment if you need to in order to make a particular purchase.
Ignore the nonsense warnings from the CRAs. You're clearing in full, so there is no issue.1 -
The warnings are there as a guide but many people will tell you that the CRA advice is to increase the pointless score which is true. The risk you’re running is if something took you a few pound over you will get an over limit fee and a mark on your credit file. Maybe an idea to spend up to £150 and leave a bit of space on there. If your credit file is decent after 12 months they will likely offer you an increase limit.blackdog2220 said:been advised (on other posts on this page) NOT to pay credit card off untill they have actually prepaired the bill , paying early would "look" like non use of card

The CRAs will always flag up as a negative if you are using over 50% of the limit - for a £200 card that's not surprising, just ignore that, as your good financial sense (paying off in full every month) is rewarded, your limit will go up so that £200 payment becomes say 20% of a £1000 limit or whatever.0

so in my situation , do I (me not others in different circumstance) pay the card back quickly and have zero or very little at bill time , will credit card co see this and be good to me or bad to me as they are making nothing
if my limit was £1000 , i can forsee utilising £4-500 per month with the ability to pay bill on arrival without fail0 -
If you pay the balance off in full and on time they will be good to you and increase your limit over timeblackdog2220 said:so in my situation , do I (me not others in different circumstance) pay the card back quickly and have zero or very little at bill time , will credit card co see this and be good to me or bad to me as they are making nothing

Then if you need to clear it to make another purchase, you do that. But otherwise, you simply wait for the statement.0

yup , I know its the only way in my case , but goes against advice of waiting till bill is produced
devel and the deep blue , lets see if capitol one will increase limit0 -
It really doesn't, because you're still left with a balance to clear when the statement comes.blackdog2220 said:yup , I know its the only way in my case , but goes against advice of waiting till bill is produced
You're over worrying about these 'devels' and 'deep blues' of yours.1
