I would try writing to Boris. He's splashed out tons of cash for other victims of Covid impact so why shouldn't the Government pay for your car to be fixed because you think it's broken due to lack of use?I think owners of Caravans/Campervans will be very interested in your outcome!4

Scotland have banned all non-essential travel outside the local health board area and encouraged everyone to stay as local as possible. So you can go to a Supermarket, but not one that's 100 miles away.welshmoneylover said:This has to be a wind up? No one was banned from driving to go and get food from a supermarket however far you would need to travel to it!
I don't think England had any such restriction.

I think the OP needs to consider the fact that many people have had much more serious issues to contend with as a result of the impact of Covid, like the Cancer patients unable to receive the treatment they should have and in some cases are now just waiting to die as their cancer has progressed too far to be treatable.3

Yep. I'd happily swap the impact covid has had on my family for a problem of a £600 turbo (which was the OPs fault anyway)NameUnavailable said:I think the OP needs to consider the fact that many people have had much more serious issues to contend with as a result of the impact of Covid, like the Cancer patients unable to receive the treatment they should have and in some cases are now just waiting to die as their cancer has progressed too far to be treatable.
Count yourself lucky OP, move on with your life and hopefully gain some personal responsibility2
