Can I add to a fixed year isa

Assume you mean a 1 year fixed rate cash ISA?
Sometimes fixed rate accounts will allow multiple deposits within a period of time from opening, e.g. 14 days and no more deposits from then on (but there are not universal rules).
What do the Ts and Cs of the account you opened say?

That could refer to a range of different products. However, if you mean fixed term deposit then usually the answer is no because the tranche is only available between certain dates.
