Genuine customers should not be harassed in this way , DFS need to wake up and get spurious charges like this stopped

Phoned dfs customer services and got no where so told them we wanted to cancel our order. They are supposed to be calling back tomorrow after speaking to a manager. I have also emailed the CEO as he does have the authority to sort it out. Let’s see what happens.

That's the way to do it!

I have been advocating this for years, even to the extent of taking stuff back because the extra £100 scamvoice makes it too expensive.

As far as CAG and ignoring is concerned, the advice to ignore a PCN has not been given on this site since the law changed in 2012. There are thousands of people who have now have a lovely CCJ framed on their dining room walls next to three china ducks bough in Porthcawl because they ignored the original scamvoice.

You were right to appeal the original charge. Please do complain to your MP as well as all the other good stuff you are doing. I presume you have explained to the CEO and manage why you are cancelling the order. The people from top to bottom of the retail industry need to know the damage these scammers are doing to themselves by employing these unregulated scammers.

Update. After phoning dfs back again to cancel our order we were told it was m the hands of senior management ( result of my email to ceo maybe). 

The temporary store manager called us finally to tell us that the parking charge has been recinded. Funny what they can actually do when pushed from on high.

Give it a day or so then check on the scammer's website as if you were going to pay to ensure it is indeed cancelled. It isn't so until the scammers say so.
Get back to DFS if you don't get confirmation from the scammers within a week.
