VCS DFS sheffield parking charge

Options
Hi.
We received a NTK on 22nd January dated 19th January for an alleged overstay on the St Mary’s Road Car park sheffield on 31st December 2020.
We started an appeal citing that the NTK was received too late for keeper liability under POFA and we did not name the driver.
Letter received today stating that they never stated POFA and that the keeper isn’t liable the driver is and to name them. We won’t obviously but we need to know what to do next.
Consumer action have said that we shouldn’t have appealed and ignored but I thought ignoring just stored up the problem.
Should we ignore now or reply that we don’t know who the driver was and to send us any footage they have so as to ascertain blame.

Nothing else you can do , except for plan A in the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum , complain to the landowner or managing agent or retailer

No reply is going to assist you
  • Redx do you mean that nothing we put now will help or not replying will help. We have complained to DFS sheffield who’s manager said it was nothing to do with them so I’ve emailed DFS customer services.
CA do seem to be a bit contradictory and some cases don’t seem to have ended well.

thats because they wont adapt or change as processes change, they are stuck in one kind of mode
RedX is 100% correct on this

VCS are simply desperate due to covid.. Last information is that VCS are 80% down on requests to the DVLA ......
VCS are complete fools ...... they don't know who the driver is,  something they have to prove.

Whoever writes their letters ?  Got to be from play school

Don't bother with an appeal to the IAS, they are just grubby little scammers

Just wait ........ who is the driver VCS, come on with such rubbish you must know ??
    DO YOU ???

It's unlikely that DFS own the land , probably tenants , so try the managing agent or better still the actual landowner !!

As mentioned above , nothing other than a cancellation by one of those 3 will put an end to your misery !!

No point replying to VCS , that won't magically produce a cancellation by VCS , more chance of covid dying out on its own !!

The ultimate option for you is that a judge rules in your favour before 2027 , or it times out in 2017

Plan A remains your best option and no amount of replies or posts will change that deduction !

    It's a sc#m , a trap , the driver fell into the trap

    The scene is set

I suggest IAS is tried, because we've seen a few wins.  Also it looks more reasonable later even if it's lost (likely because it is a kangaroo court).

Point out that in the IAS appeal that this is a non-POFA NTK and VCS have admitted it but the driver has never been identified.  There is no de facto case to answer because VCS can't assume a registered keeper was driving.  Even better if you can honestly state that the rk was not driving. There is no liability.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    as above

"We have complained to DFS sheffield who’s manager said it was nothing to do with them so I’ve emailed DFS customer services. "
ask the manager who they pay rent to ..... if you bought something ask about taking it back .. or if you where looking, tell him/her that you will now go else where .
Nest step in plan A is find the DFS CEO (google ceo) and complain to him/her.
