I think you have misread Sid91's post. The purchasers haven't yet responded to EA ultimatum, so not known if they are proceeding or not.youth_leader said:I'm very glad they are proceeding Sid91, hope all goes well for you. My buyer got so 'chippy' about everything I lost patience and withdrew from the sale, and left my estate agent as well, his language of negotiation made me so angry.
Well done Sid91!1 -
I don't definitely know they are, they've got until 9am tomorrow to make a decision so fingers crossed! I can imagine, it's made me never want to sell a house again!youth_leader said:I'm very glad they are proceeding Sid91, hope all goes well for you. Honestly, I have no idea whether you are the better cause to support, or the FTBs. But, everyone else seems to be cheering for you, so I thought I'd cheer for the underdogs. We are British, after all.Sid91 said:

Of course, if your buyers are just reducing their offer 'because they can', that's not a very nice thing to do. But, maybe they are having trouble getting the money together? Maybe, there's somewhere else come on the market that is far better value than your place, and it's making yours look expensive?
Anyway, hopefully you'll know in the morning whether they are bluffing.
